Netflix has launched its ‘Streams & Screams’ Halloween horror hub

Netflix offers fans a variety of horror movies and TV shows throughout the year, but to make it all easier for subscribers, the streaming device has rounded up the best titles to get fans into the Halloween spirit in their new lives.”Streams and screamsHub. With more weeks to go until Halloween officially arrives, the launcher still has some concerns for subscribers, so while the debut of this hub doesn’t bring any new shows for content, it does offer viewers a different way to browse their horror shows, Thanks to the unique species categories.

Viewers can scroll through categories such as “Teen Screams,” “Zombies, Vampires and Ghouls,” “Horror Hidden Gems,” “Family Halloween Treats,” “Slashers and Serial Killers,” “This Place Is Evil,” and “Modern Horror Classics,” “Reimagined Horror,” “Witchcraft and the Dark Arts,” “High Eyebrow Horror,” and “Halloween Comedy.”

Each section is packed with Netflix originals, while also offering a few titles that are not exclusive to the service.

Fortunately, with the time we have before Halloween, that means there are more Netflix originals on the way to help fans get into the spirit of the season.

On October 5th is an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel Mr. Harrigan’s phonewhich has been described, “When Craig, a young boy living in a small town (Jaden Martell) befriends Mr. Harrigan, an older and reclusive billionaire (Donald Sutherland), the two begin to form an unlikely bond around their love of books and reading. But when Mr. Harrigan Sadly, Craig discovers that not everything is dead and gone and a stranger finds himself able to communicate with his friend from the grave through the iPhone in this supernatural story that shows that some bonds are never lost.”

October 7 is midnight clubwhich has been described, “In a nursing home for terminally ill young people, eight patients gather every night in the middle of the night to tell each other stories—and make a pact that the next person dies will give the group a signal from outside.” Inspired by the 1994 novel of the same name alongside Other works of Christopher Pike.

October 25th is Guillermo del Toro’s intriguing cabinetdescribed “in Cabinet of curiosityAcademy Award-winning director, creator, executive producer, and co-director, Guillermo del Toro, has curated a collection of groundbreaking, genre-defining stories intended to challenge our traditional notions of horror. From horrific to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically frightening, these eight sophisticated and equally sinister tales (including two original stories by del Toro) are brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally selected by del Toro.”
